Timberland Hardwood - Factory Seconds

Known as the Timberland™ Collection, these slightly imperfect major brand name Hardwood Floors have already saved tens of thousands of homeowners countless dollars on quality hardwood flooring. The same brand name hardwood flooring products that you would find in your local flooring store or home improvement center are made available in this section of our site in factory seconds for a fraction of what you would pay for the equivalent 1st quality material.

These Timberland factory seconds will display more naturally occuring character in the hardwood itself, such as small knots, mineral streaking, and color/grain variation. They may also have a slightly shorter average length.

It is important to realize that only a very small portion of this flooring is labeled as factory seconds due to milling and finishing imperfections, and that the most noticeable difference between 1st and 2nd quality is simply more naturally occuring character in the hardwood itself than would be found in the comparable 1st Quality product. We have recommended only a 10% waste factor for these Cabin Grade products for years, and have never had a case where a customer needed more than 10% overage to complete a job.

All of the hardwoods available as Timberland value flooring include engineered maple and oak flooring. Our selection of engineered cabin grade flooring by Timberland includes these domestic hardwoods in various plank sizes, depending on the selection, as well as lock and fold flooring. If you're looking for high-quality Timberland engineered flooring and don't mind a few superficial imperfections, engineered cabin grade flooring by Timberland should fit your needs. Cabin grade flooring, in general, is cut from the outside of a tree, instead of the core, and this leads to pieces of flooring being dotted with some knots, streaks, or variations in grade or color.

Although we try extremely hard to provide photographs that accurately depict our many flooring products, the colors shown may vary in color from the actual flooring. This is due to different computer monitor settings that you may be viewing our website on, image quality, transfer quality etc. Our pictures are only meant to help guide you with your color choices as you make your very important flooring decision.
