Description
This 6" Ash Select & Better Rift & Quartered hardwood flooring will have very consistent color and grain throughout. Select & Better grade will also be mostly free of imperfections such as knots and minerals streaks and provide an overall clean appearance. Our 3/4" thick unfinished solid wood flooring is precision milled by NWFA standards or better and has a 4 sided tongue and groove for ease of installation.
Rift & Quartered - This sawing method produces a unique grain pattern while also increasing hardness and stability to minimize expansion and contraction. Rift Sawn boards display very tight, straight grain, while Quarter Sawn boards display the prominent "ribbon & flake" pattern they are desired for, as well as tight grain. Due to its increased stability, this flooring is a great choice when installed over approved radiant heat systems.
