Welcome to Hurst Hardwoods exclusive line of SELECT Grade European French Oak. The lumber to manufacture this flooring is sourced from European forests and milled with the finest German equipment for superior milling and durability. To achieve this old-world look, European style flooring is made of Live Sawn white oak which adds beautiful character and increases stability and hardness. Only 5% of the harvested European White Oak is of high enough quality to be graded as "Select Grade". Hurst Hardwoods is one of the few companies in the US importing true Select grade European Oak. This flooring also features a majority of longer lengths and thicker wear layers. Our French Oak complies with the U. S. Lacey Act and California CARB standards.
